So I went down to the petrol station to check my tire presures and I thought let me check the fluid level. Needless to say fluid was not even featuring on the dipstick. So I drove home slowly and took the route with the least amount of turns. Got home to discover that I got two different power steering fluids. Which is strange as I did buy one for when I replaced my old power steering pump and andother when I had my Rover.Option 1 : http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...tegoryId_165750Option 2: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...cm_vc=IOV4PDPZ1I used option 2 because Haynes said something about Dll but I'm not use if this is the right one as the bottle did not say Citroen. The Dlll (option 2) mentioned citroend but didn't think it was for it.Did I use the wrong one?Also I filled it up a bit to much whats the easiest way to remove some? Suck out the excess fluid.Also you may have an airlock in the system. Turn the steering full lock to full lock a few times with the engine running, this usually burps out the air. I should have thought of that, thanks.What about the fluid type did I use the right one or the wrong one?I think there is a leak where the pipe and reserviour meet.
