on rears, after-market back-box, and a Clifford alarm which works well. No modification has been made to engine or anything else. As you may be able to see the fuel cap is missing, i have however bought one from eBay in the correct colour so this will be on the car on collection. Car drives nice, engine sounds good and pulls well, clutch feels good and gearbox is quiet and selects all gears easy. Interior is in good nick, some stains on seats and a small tear on top of bolster of drivers seat, but overall good. Body work is in all round good condition, however there are a few broken clips on some of the plastic trims so they are a little loose in places, this is very common on this cars and im sure there cheap and easy to fix, Any other questions please let me know, any trial and viewing before auction end is welcome. I have the V5 present, and will need a £50 deposit through paypal when the auction ends and the rest in cash on collection. ******PLEASE NOTE - Car has just been washed and there is some water still on the paint in the pictures, this is not imperfections in the paint. **********Collection from just outside of Exeter, Devon.Key Points: Mileage - 91284M.O.T - OCTOBER 29th 2012TAX - Currently S.O.R.NRegistered - 29.11.99Lowered around 60mm all roundStandard VTS alloys in good condition with some very minor mark on the outside lip but hardly noticeable.Standard VTS interior in good condition for its age no tears or rips. Engine runs sweet, with no knocks or rattles. What looks to be a K&N induction filter or similiarGood tyres with at least 3mm on each tyre. After-market exhaust system (unknown make)Was told by previous owner it had been chipped but can`t see the paperwork for this. Tinted headlampsTinted tail lightsLoads of receipts and paperwork, previous M.O.T`s etc. Private plate included (registered from new on this plate)All other normal VTS goodiesBad points: Gearbox is leaking fluid, unknown reason, gears still work fine. Airbag light flashes - I have done some research into this and it is to do with the connectors under the seat according to the internet, they may have some corrosion on stopping the circuit being fully made.Power Steering pump has failed common Saxo fault. Can be replaced fairly cheaply (£40 ish)Scuff down passenger door and slightly on to rear quarter panel, most of it will probably polish out, plus scrape on same side in the rear bumper (see pictures)Scuff on Driverside Side skirt (see pictures) Dent on passenger side on the boot just next to the number plate trim. In general its in all round good condition, normal marks as expected from a car this age. Only marks worth mentioning is a slight key mark down passengers side, and a few chips marks around the grill (See photo) Alloys also have slight curbing marks but general good condition. Al tyres are legal but one is a little low. I have spent quite a bit of time and money in the time that i have had it, the extras that i have got for it are;106 GTI Half leather Interior (Full including front and rear door cards)Angel eye headlightsBlack wire mesh grillSmoked jeweled rear lightsVTR alloys sprayed blackCrome wheel nut covers | It also has a "Monster" 1000w amp all wired in, also has two 6X9 speakers on the rear shelf and i have also replaced the speakers in the rear door cards with upgraded ones. It also has a nice head unit. I am willing to leave these in the car if the price i good enough. | I still have the original headlights, grill, wheels and some lexus lights that came with the car if you wanted me to swap them over or you could buy the for a little extra. MOTMechanically brilliant. 2000 miles ago I had the rear axle replaced with a proper reconditioned one from Coventry Transmissions and fitted by Retro Revival. All in all cost me about £600. There is a dent in the passenger door, which can be pushed out. Iv had it looked at and its not a big job. It has a few parking dents ands scratches to be expected with its age and miles and the usual stone chips on the bonnet, but has still cleaned up nice (worst is a dent under the passenger rear window, but a professional can pop them out for 30-50 pounds, and a scuff on the rear bumper and tailgate that should polish out. The undersides and arches have been jet washed too. There is no rust on the car. | The insides have just been steam cleaned and came up wonderful with no marks, burns or rips. It has the black sport seats in it with matching door cards. All the electrics work fine, the dash bulbs have been replaced (nightmare of a job to do!) and the sunroof works fine with no leaks. It has front electric windows, rear pop out windows, and a folding rear seat to make the boot very large for such a small car. It has a set of VTR overmats too (drivers side has wear to it under pedals) and a new air freshener. | It has over £250 worth of stereo in it, a Sony face-off CD player with 3.5mm AUX input for iPod or MP3 player, an easily removable stealth shelf in the boot (genuine one that cost £80, not a homemade copy) and a set of 6x9 Sony speakers, which you cannot see when looking through the windows. The original front and rear speakers are still present. | The wheels are in very good condition with minor kerbing, no cracks or buckles. They have been cleaned with Autoglym Custom Wheel Cleaner to rid them of the built up grime, and been polished so they are as clean as new. The tyres have 5mm, 4mm, 2mm, 2mm in tread but the spare tyre can be used to swap one of the low ones over. It has locking wheel nuts too (with keys), and the brand new spare/jack etc is all present. It has been professionally lowered on Koni springs and shockers with paperwork for the guarantee. It is lowered 50mm front and back, which is subtle and makes it handle and look a lot better. | It has a £450 Clifford Concept 650 G5 Thatcham approved alarm system which locks/unlocks the doors/boot, and is fully customisable, it even turns on your headlights if you need to see in the dark/find your car in a car park and chirps if anyone is near to your car. I have the code for the alarm if you want to change any of the settings and also 2 fobs for it (and the original key). With it being Thatcham approved it should knock some money off your insurance, plus there are no door locks for thieves to brake into. I have the paperwork when GAP Security fitted it. | The engine is standard and has just been serviced this week ready for the new owner. It had Castrol oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and spark plugs. New washer on the sum plug was used and new fuel straps on the filter. The service light has also been reset. The rocker cover has been sanded down and quickly painted Hammerite silver to tidy it up and the rest of the engine has been cleaned to get rid of any dust, dirt etc. It has came up very nice. The power steering pump does not work for a few seconds once in a while (I would say once in the last 50 times it has been drove) so it has had the fluids topped up and now seem OK and works everytime, just a bit noisey, but I understand that is normal for these cars. It does not overheat and pulls as well as it did when new still returning very good MPG figures. The exhaust is new and has the standard chrome tail pipe that has been polished up as good as new. The brakes are also new and have a lot of life in them, the clutch is original but still changes gear as expected as it was adjusted recently. Selling this car due to buying a car with a bigger engine, I was giving the car to my brother but he hasn’t passed his test yet and I don’t want it just sitting about. Car is in very good condition especially for its age. Car has had one previous lady owner and then myself (lady). Recently had the centre pipe and back box replaced and also the front discs and pads. with something a little more practical as she now has a little boy. | She has owned the car since 2007 and the car had 2 owners prior to her. | This is the 1.6.16 Valve VTS model although it has the VTR alloy wheels fitted. The original VTS 15” alloys will be included in the sale. Apart from some window tinting (done by the previous owner) the car is completely standard and un-abused. | The car has MOT until mid April but will be sold with no tax. | The body work is in very good condition for the year with no rust, no accident damage/repair and very little in the way of dents. There is one small dent on the hatch (pictured) and a few small ones down the passenger side. There are also a couple of dents on the roof of the hatch (pictured), she has no idea how they got there and I can’t even begin to imagine. There are the usual stone chips on the front of the bonnet and a few light scratches down the passenger side where the car used to be parked up along side a hedge. These would polish out with a machine polisher (I just don’t happen to have one to do it). Some of the plastic clips that hold on the side skirts have snapped but again this is an easy fix. The side and rear windows have all been tinted, the front drivers tint is marked where the window has been going up and down, the passenger tint is torn in several places. If it were my car I’d remove the tinting from the front windows with a heat gun. | The seats are in good condition with no rips or tears and the car has never been smoked in. | The alloys are the VTR alloys fitted with 4 Avon ZR3 tyres all having around 2-3mm of tread. 2 alloys have no curbing and minimal lacquer peel, 1 alloy has slight curbing whilst the remaining alloy has a 2 inch curbing graze. The original 15” VTS alloys will be included in the sale, 3 of the 4 are in good condition although the 4th has some damage from going down a pot hole and one has an area of lacquer peel, only one of the tyres is useable. | Mechanically the car is sound although it could do with a little TLC. It recently had a new clutch fitted (at a cost of over £500, receipt to prove) and had the cam belt changed last year. The brakes both front and rear are in good condition and a new exhaust back box was fitted about 6 months ago. The gearbox is smooth with no crunches or whines. Now the bad bits…….The car can at times idle a little erratically (seems to have a mind of its own, although it is behaving itself at the moment). I suspect it maybe the idle air control valve. The alternator squeals (sometimes barely noticeably and sometimes loudly) and would benefit from being replaced. The ABS light comes on intermittently. This is a fault that has only recently occurred and I imagine is a dirty/dicky sensor. There is a small clonk which has been there for ages when going over bumps which I suspect may be a drop link although nothing was picked up on the last MOT. The worst part of the car by far is the boot. The car was used for regular trips to B&Q and means that there are many scratches in it where tins of paint, wood and bricks have rubbed against it and the original boot carpet has been replaced with a piece of household carpet…mmmmm, nice….. drives fine.Only issue I noticed is a noisy front wheel bearing. Body is good for age.Only issue is front wing is splayed out which I think could be pushed back in. NO MOT,it needs 2 tyres (which I can supply free) & the wheel bearing.Can`t see that it would need much else,can`t see any rust.Simple little cars... Cheap to insure, cheap to tax, cheap to maintain and returns excellent fuel consumption. | I am selling the car with Tax until the end of October 2012 and the current MOT is for about 5 months. There is absolutely nothing that needs doing before the next MOT. Everything on the car is standard down to the original Citroen stereo. | The car is in immaculate condition inside, and hasn’t been smoked in. The bodywork is in good condition overall and is well above average for the year. The car has some options that aren’t always standard on 1.1 models, such as central locking, power steering, electric windows and driver’s airbag. | The cam belt has been done and there is literally £1000’s worth of service receipts. There are 2 keys with the car. Absolutely nothing needs doing, apart from to get in it and drive. The car is super reliable and has never let me down.
