having to say goodbye to him as I`ve started a business and I now have a van to drive day to day. I`m a rather rotund gentleman, and this car has been really very spacious and comfortable - it`ll hold four solidly built rugby players without much trouble. Fuel consumption is excellent, and I`ve been getting 55+ miles per gallon. Parts are also relatively cheap, and I`ve paid as little as £27 for tyres. Road tax is just £20 per year, and I`ve just renewed it for twelve months. The MOT is also up to date, having passed two weeks ago. It really is a reliable nippy little car, and I`ll be extremely sad to see it go.No car is without its quirks - I`ve tried to be as honest as possible. Paintwork is good, however there are a couple of small stone chips on the bonnet. It`s missing one of the plastic hub caps. they`re pretty cheap here on ebay if you`d like to replace it. When it went in for its MOT it needed one tyre replaced, and it had an advisory that the front brake pads were worn and will need replacing in 3,000 - 4,000 miles. There was also and engine light on - the garage checked it out and it`s to do with the catalytic convertor. They said it didn`t warrant changing the part as it had passed it`s MOT with no problem on emissions. I`ve been driving the car locally for the past two weeks and the engine light remained off, it only reappeared on Monday when I made a 500mile roundtrip up to Lincolnshire.Vehicles of the same age and mileage are advertised at £3995+ here on ebay, I`ve listed it at a more realistic price. I don`t have a buy it now price, and would rather let the auction run its course.
